A wish-fulfilling tree as the Sabha: where knowledge flourishes, art is nurtured, and artists and connoisseurs unite through Rasa.
In this image, the Sabha is the tree itself. Its branches are the Vedas, its flowers the Shastras, and its bees the scholars and connoisseurs drawn to the nectar of artistic knowledge. At Kalpadruma, dance, music, visual arts and cultural exchange grow together.

In the words of students and families who make this community what it is.
“My daughter has been learning Bharatanatyam at Kalpdruma House of Art for the past four years, and it has been a truly wonderful journey.”
A special appreciation for Miss Aarthi Satyanarayan, who is an exceptionally talented teacher with a deep passion for dance. Her dedication, patience, and excellent teaching skills make learning Bharatanatyam a beautiful and enriching experience for the students.
We are truly grateful to her for nurturing my daughter's talent, instilling discipline, and helping her grow in this beautiful classical dance form. Her commitment to preserving and sharing our rich Indian cultural heritage is truly admirable.
Thank you, Kalpadruma House of Art, and a big thank you to Miss Aarthi for your wonderful guidance and dedication. Wishing you continued success in spreading the beauty of Bharatanatyam!
“Joining her classes four years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She has not only helped me resume my artistic journey but continues to inspire me to strive for excellence every single day.”
Dance has been a part of who I am for as long as I can remember. In 2016, my Bharatanatyam journey truly took flight in Kerala under the guidance of an extraordinary Guru. For six wonderful years, I was living my dream—balancing a fulfilling career with the joy of performing on stage.
Moving to Kraków brought an unexpected pause. I was cautious about finding a teacher who truly understood and respected the tradition. That all changed the day I saw Arathy Sathyanarayan perform at an IPCC event. The moment she stepped onto the stage, I knew she was special.
Joining her classes four years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Her depth of knowledge far exceeds her years, and she never compromises on quality or integrity. Learning under her guidance has been an absolute privilege.
“We are incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful guru for our daughters. The teacher finds the perfect balance between discipline and encouraging warmth.”
Beyond just teaching how to dance, she takes time to explain the mythological stories behind each part which has helped the children to connect with Indian heritage. Our daughters' posture and stamina have significantly improved. Highly recommended for any parents looking for finest and authentic guidance.
“Even though I am far away from my homeland, these classes make me feel deeply connected to our roots and cultural heritage.”
I am learning Bharathanatyam from here and I truly love the teaching style at Kalpadruma Kdha. The teaching is very traditional, authentic, and true to the essence of the dance form. I am grateful to learn from a teacher who preserves the beauty, grace, and values of our tradition with so much dedication and passion. Thank you for keeping our culture alive and bringing a little piece of home closer to us through dance.
“Arathy has this incredible way of teaching that isn’t just about getting the steps right—she really builds up the kids' confidence and teaches them so much about grace and discipline.”
We feel so incredibly lucky to have found Arathy and this absolute gem of an academy here in Krakow.
“My daughter and I have been attending classes here, and it has been an incredible journey. My daughter is learning Bharatanatyam and I am learning Mohiniyattam.”
Our teacher, Arathy, is not only a highly professional instructor but also a wonderful performer herself. She possesses such deep knowledge of these traditional art forms that we can truly call her a Guru. Her extensive expertise and recognitions shine through in every session. We admire her so much because she always pushes her students to get the absolute best out of themselves while keeping them deeply inspired. We highly recommend learning from her!
“My daughter Devaki, 7 years old, goes to learn Bharatanatyam here with Arathy. She is very happy with the teacher and I can see her progress.”
Thank you, Arathy, for being Devaki’s teacher.
“This is a great place to learn Indian classical Bharatanatyam. The teacher is very talented, passionate and energetic.”
My daughter is taking Bharatanatyam classes for the past 2 years. It is a very welcoming environment. Thank you, Aarthy ma'am. We are grateful our daughter got a wonderful Guru. Kalpadruma House of Arts is highly recommended for kids and adults.
